Admission Process

The registrations for session 2021-2022 has commenced from 1^st January 2021. At Arden Progressive School, every child is considered equal and everyone is invited to join us. We have tried to administer an admission procedure that is reasonable, impartial and fair-minded so that your child feels encouraged to begin learning with a clean slate. Enquiries for admissions usually come from various sources – website, flyers, e-mails, referrals, walk-in prospective parents

1. REGISTRATION- The Admission Department attends to these enquiries and informs parents to fill up the Registration Forms available on the website or at the Admission Office of the School.The Admission Officer checks all the forms received on a daily basis. The parent is called to fix an appropriate date for the Admission Interview/Assessment. Admission Kit is to be purchased against payment of prescribed fee to register the child’s name for the new session and class for which admission is sought. This fee is non - refundable and it is valid only for the specified academic year.

2. ADMISSION TEST-Prospective students of all levels will have to appear for an Admission test on the scheduled day as per the date decided by the School.

1. Admission Test for Nursery-The child is asked to assemble puzzles to assess hand & motor co-ordination, and identify animals, colors, shapes etc. The child is assessed on clarity of speech, behavior and ability to follow instructions. 
2. Admission Test for Kindergarten- It is an interactive session, where the Admissions In -charge checks to find out if the child is ready to be admitted in the class for which he/she has applied. The purpose of the Admission test is to group prospective students with children of the same age and skill sets.
3. Admission Test for Grade I to VIII–For taking admission in the mentioned classes, the children are tested through a written test on the grade-appropriate concepts in English, Math and EVS /Science.
4. Admission Test for Grade IX- For seeking admission in the Grade XI, the children are tested through a written test on the grade-appropriate concepts in English, Math  EVS /Science and General Awareness.
5. Admission Test for Grade XI– In Grade XI, the School offers three streams viz. Science (both PCM & PCB), Commerce and Humanities. For taking admission, a candidate is required to undergo a written test comprising Stream wise subjects.

3.PERSONAL INTERACTION- After the successful completion of the Admission tests, a personal interactive session with the parents is organized to facilitate further in-depth understanding about the education philosophy of the school, and parents' needs and expectation from the school.

Parents are given an appointment for a visit to our School. Admission Executive schedules an informal interactive session which is timely communicated through a phone call or an E-mail. On the day of interaction, the child has to visit the school along with the parent/ guardian.

Admissions Executive intimates about the admission status of the child within 24 hrs from the Informal Interactive Session.

4.SUBMISSION OF ADMISSION FORM/ DOCUMENTS: Once a child has been selected to take admission in the School , his / her parents are required to submit the completed Admission Form along with the following documents:

1. A copy of Date of Birth Certificate of the candidate.
2. Two passport size photographs of the candidate.
3. Copy of address proof  of the candidate.
4. Transfer Certificate(TC) received from the previous school is to be compulsorily submitted for admission to Grade - 1 upwards.
5. Copy of report card of the previous class in which the student studied last.
6. ID Proof of parents (Aadhar Card, Pan Card , Passport , etc.)

NOTE:-

1. Arden Progressive School shall offer admissions in various classes based on the seats available.
2. Preference is always given to the sibling/s of the children already studying in this school.
3. Purchase of Admission Form does not guarantee the admission.Only the selected candidates will be called for further admission process.
