With the rapid growth of commercialization in the noble field of education dire need was felt for an institution which will come out as a retort to this grave situation. Arden Progressive School, within a short span of time has become a school of repute and has lived up to the great expectations that were placed on the institution right from its inception.

The School was inaugurated as DPS, Haldwani by Honorable Chief Minister, Uttarakhand (then) Shri Harish RawatJi, on Tuesday 10^thMarch, 2015. After getting accredited and affiliated by CBSE(Affiliation Code: 3530485 & School No.: 81707) the first academic session started on Wednesday 8^thApril, 2015.

The school within a year got surplus admissions and to accommodate all the students as per the norms of CBSE, the construction of Academic Block-2 got over in fleeting time and by March 2016 it was operational.

Within no time, our school began to bloom and to facilitate the students with top tier extra-curricular facilities, Science Block & School Sports Complex came into existence in Mar 2017. Also, this year was momentous as School’s First batch of Middle School (Class VIII) passed out.

As the school pursued its academic journey, infrastructural growth also continued and a New Block (Primary wing) became functional in Mar 2018.

The year 2019 saw the school achieving a milestone as it proved its worth when the first batch of Class X passed out with flying colors in AISSE 2019 (Class X Board exams); Out of 54 students, 18 secured more than 90% marks. CBSE conferred the school with ‘Grade A’ certificate for achieving 100% pass result.

The school repeated its glory again in the year 2020 as yet again the students of Class X for the session 2019-20 gave 100% result. It was a matter of immense pride that 5 students secured 100/100 marks in Hindi subject in Class X Board Examination.

As it was rightly said by John F. Kennedy “Change is the law of life, and those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future”. The school also with the sole purpose to progress in January 2021 rechristened as Arden Progressive School, Lamachaur,Haldwani, vide CBSE Letter No. CBSE/Aff./ 3530485/2020/CN-00002-2122 dated 30/12/2020.

The year 2021 is going to be a landmark year for the school as the first batch of class XII is going to appear in Board exams (AISSCE 2021).

Our Journey So Far

June 2014

Bhumi Poojan ceremony is conducted in the presence of Honourable Chief Trustee Sir & his entire family.

Mar 2015

Inauguration of the school, as DPS, Haldwani,Lamachaur is done by Sri Harish Rawat ji, the then Chief Minister, Uttarakhand; Affiliation is given by CBSE (Affiliation Code: 3530485 & School Number: 81707).

Mar 2016

Construction of Academic Block 2 gets completed and it becomes functional.

Mar 2017

Science Block & School Sports Complex comes into existence; First batch of Middle School (Class VIII) passed out.

Mar 2018

New Block (Primary Wing) becomes functional.

Mar 2019

First batch of Class X passes out with flying colors in AISSE 2019 (Class X Board exams); Out of 54 students, 18 secured more than 90% marks.

Apr 2020

Strength of the school goes beyond 1700.

Jan 2021

School is rechristened as Arden Progressive School, Lamachaur,Haldwani, vide CBSE Letter No. CBSE/Aff./ 3530485/2020/CN-00002-2122 dated 30/12/2020 The year 2021 is going to be a landmark year for the school as the first batch (Class of 2021) is going to appear in Class XII Board exams (AISSCE 2021).
